This hand-stitched carry pouch is constructed from salvaged black leather and edged with silver-toned beads. A crescent-shaped form holds raw quartz and selenite as material inclusions.

Suspended from a twisted cord, the piece is conceived as a wearable container. It explores contrast between softness and structure, raw and refined, permanence and impermanence. Each pouch is individually made and materially unique.
